Athena Begleri

Athena Begleri currently serves as the Head of Syndication Desk at Attica Bank since June 2025. Prior to this role, Athena held various positions at Alpha Bank from 2010 to September 2025, including Project Finance and Real Estate Agency Team Leader, Senior Officer in the Project Finance and Real Estate Middle Office, Structured Finance Loan Officer, and Wholesale Banking Lending Officer focused on syndicated loans. Athena's career also includes experience as a Procurement Officer handling contracts for outsourcing services and as a Contract Manager in the Energy Management Division at PPC S.A. from 2007 to 2010. Athena holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business, an MBA from Hellenic Open University, and a Master of Computer Applications from Hellenic Open University, with additional studies at The American College of Greece.
