Vangelis Kontogeorgos

Vangelis Kontogeorgos has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Vangelis started their career in 1993 as a Software Developer at Sysco SA. In 1994, they moved to IBM where they worked as a Software Engineer until 1996. Following this, they joined Accenture as a Senior Consultant and stayed there until 1999. Vangelis then joined Emporiki Bank - Credit Agricole Group as a Senior Analyst, where they worked for 14 years until 2013. From 2013 to 2018, Vangelis worked at Alpha Bank as an IT Professional. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Information Technology Business Analyst at Attica Bank since May 2019.

Vangelis Kontogeorgos obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Crete in 1990. Vangelis later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, which is expected to be completed in 2022. In addition to their academic qualifications, Vangelis also holds certifications including the PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate obtained in March 2019 from AXELOS Global Best Practice and the ITIL Foundation Certificate obtained in December 2015, also from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
