William DeBerry II

William DeBerry II has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. William is currently working as a Software Engineer II at ID Technologies, A CACI Company, where they perform complex Red Hat and KVM configurations and develops software applications for Linux-based operating systems. Prior to this, they worked as a DevOps Automation Engineer II at Stelligent.

From 2012 to 2022, William had various roles at Get Well, starting as a Product Support Engineer, then moving up to Lead Software Engineer, Manager of Client Devices, Senior Engineering Manager, and finally Senior DevOps Engineer. In these roles, they managed teams, led projects, developed software utilities, and worked on continuous integration and AWS integration.

Before their time at Get Well, William worked as a Tier 2 Tech Support at VeriFone, troubleshooting hardware and software for POS systems. William also worked as a Workforce Real-time Analyst at CGS, where they focused on workforce management.

Throughout their career, William has demonstrated their technical expertise in areas such as Linux, Python, Bash, Rust, and scripting. William has also collaborated with cross-functional teams and provided guidance and coaching to direct reports.

William DeBerry II attended Brandon Senior High School from 2001 to 2005, where they earned their High School Diploma with a focus on Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, William obtained several certifications in the field of cloud computing from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In May 2022, they became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and in September 2022, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
