Adam Kirk has extensive legal and governmental experience, currently serving as the Director at the Attorney-General's Department since May 2021 and as Counsel at the Australian Government Solicitor since January 1997. Previous roles include Senior Adviser - Energy and Adviser in the Office of the Hon Gary Gray AO MP, as well as Principal Legal Officer in the Constitutional Policy Unit at the Attorney-General's Department. Adam Kirk also served as an Associate in the Chambers of Justice Hayne AC at the High Court of Australia. Educational qualifications include an Arts(Hons)/Laws(Hons) degree in History from The Australian National University and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from UWC-USA.
