Jim Carlson

Jim Carlson has over twenty-nine years of work experience, beginning in 1992 as a Research Engineer at Lederle-Praxis Biologics. Jim then moved to Aventis Pasteur in 1999 as a Project Manager. In 2003, they joined Amgen as an Executive Director, Program Management and Strategic Operations and Global Project Manager, R&D Project Management. In 2012, they became the VP, Head of R&D Program Management and Head of Program Management and Due Diligence at Shire Pharmaceuticals. In 2015, they were the VP, Office of Program Management at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. In 2018, they were the Vice President, Project Management at Calithera Biosciences and a Project Management Consultant at Epizyme. Since 2017, they have been the President of Carlson & Company Solutions (Consulting). Most recently, they have been the Vice President, Head of Project Management at Attralus since 2021.

Jim Carlson attended the University of Michigan, where they earned a BSChE in Chemical Engineering. Jim then went on to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned an MSChE in Chemical Engineering.
