Michael Sullivan

Michael Sullivan MBA PMP has over 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry. Michael began their career in 1998 as a Client Manager and Team Leader for the Life Sciences Practice at Integrated Project Management. In 2005, they became a Project Consultant and Business Developer at BioTechLogic, Inc., where they managed client projects and business development efforts. From 2007 to 2014, Michael worked at Pfizer as a Senior Director for the Portfolio Operations Group Head and a Director for Project Management. During this time, they planned and managed development plans for pain drugs and directed a diverse, global medicine development team. In 2014, they joined Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Senior Director of R&D Portfolio Management. Michael built the strategy, portfolio and project management function and managed the rare disease development portfolio during a period of unprecedented portfolio growth and delivery. In 2017, Michael founded Michael Sullivan Consulting as a Principal of Drug Development Portfolio and Project Management. Finally, in 2020, they became the Vice President, Head of Portfolio, Project and Alliance Management at Rallybio.

Michael Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Michael is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute.
