Jayanta Baidya has extensive experience in the automotive industry, particularly in customer service and care. Jayanta started their career in 1994 as a Manager of Customer Care at Mahindar & Mahindra Ltd, responsible for sales, service, and spare parts of various vehicles. Jayanta then moved on to different roles within Mahindra & Mahindra, including being a Senior Regional Customer Care Manager, where they handled after-sales services and spares functions for different regions. In 2012, they joined Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., where they held the position of Head Service 4 Wheeler and Head Customer Care (N&E). In 2016, they took on the role of Head Service - Exports Market at Piaggio Vehicle Pvt. Ltd. Most recently, they have been working as the Head of Service and Customer Care at Atul Auto Ltd since 2018. Through their various positions, Jayanta has focused on ensuring customer satisfaction, dealership infrastructure development, and implementing quality standards.

Jayanta Baidya attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1979 to 1990, where they completed their Class X and Class XII education with a focus on Science. Afterward, they enrolled at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1994, earning a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Later, from 2000 to 2005, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar) with a specialization in Marketing/Marketing Management.
