Josh S. Berman

Josh S. Berman is the current Managing Director at Atwix. Prior to this, they served as President of C2C for a year, and Advisor and Board Director of Atwix for 2 years and 5 months. Josh was also the Executive Director of Catapult Chicago for 1 year and 5 months. In this role, they were responsible for the nonprofit organization’s strategic direction and planning, as well as developing its vision and objectives. Josh also actively recruited new board members and developed partnerships that achieved results for Catapult, its members, and stakeholders.

Previously, Berman was the Director of Technology Services at SmithBucklin for 6 years and 10 months. Josh was also the Founding Executive Director of Magento Association for 2 years, and Founding Executive Director of Fuel User Group for 5 years and 6 months.

Berman has extensive experience in leadership roles in various organizations. Josh is a strong advocate for startups and has helped scale 60+ startups, supported 90+ founders in 12 industries, and raised more than $300 million in capital. Under their leadership, Catapult Chicago has contributed to the creation of 1,000 jobs, and 88% of their startups are still operational or have been acquired.

Josh S. Berman has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - College of Business and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
