Amanda Kaliski Alvarez

Amanda Kaliski Alvarez has extensive experience in education and community engagement, serving as a Teacher at Atwood Heights School District #125 since August 2014. Concurrently, Amanda is a Volunteer at the Blue Island Historical Society, managing web content, social media, and event promotions. Previously, Amanda coordinated pop-up art exhibitions at 12840 Gallery and was a Young Adult Board Member at Beverly Arts Center, where involvement included programming and exhibition curation. Additional roles include Camp Coordinator at Olympia Fields Park District, Media Manager at James Street Associates, and Class Instructor at Hands On! Children's Art Museum of Chicago. Amanda holds a Teaching Certificate from Kendall College and a Fine Art degree from Columbia College Chicago.
