Merlin Tankoua is an accomplished subsea engineer with extensive experience in the offshore oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Subsea Specialist Supervisor with Atwood Oceanics since 2012, Merlin provides field support for various subsea equipment and oversees BOP maintenance. Prior roles include subsea engineer positions at Noble Drilling and Dril-Quip, where responsibilities involved maintaining and troubleshooting subsea control systems and equipment. Merlin’s career began with Kvaerner Oilfield Products as a subsea control field service engineer. Merlin holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and possesses the necessary certifications for operations in the Gulf of Mexico, North Sea, and Scotland.
