Cristian Weersink

Cristian'smost recent position was as the CEO of Au2mate, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director at XI-Controls, where they provided automation solutions for the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. During their time at XI-Controls, they also developed and implemented various management systems and solutions.

Before that, they held multiple positions at ProLeiT, including Group Management Sales and Marketing and Managing Director. Cristian was responsible for international sales and business development, as well as managing the overall operations of ProLeiT BV.

Cristian also has experience in the energy sector, having served as the Director Projects Energy Storage Systems at Koolen Industries. Cristian was involved in the development and implementation of energy storage systems based on lithium battery containers.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Rockwell Automation as an MES Consultant, where they played a key role in implementing MES projects for Heineken breweries globally. Cristian also worked at Polaroid as an Automation Engineer, responsible for production automation solutions.

Additionally, they have experience in process control technology, having worked at Norit Processtechnology BV (now Pentair) as an Engineering Process Control Technology, where they developed and commissioned process installations for the food and brewing industry.

Cristian started their career with a practical training at IRD Condition Monitoring and completed a graduation thesis at Eaton.
