Alyssa Stanford

Alyssa Stanford is a Student Services Coordinator in the Office of the Registrar at Auburn University since May 2025, after serving as an Academic Advisor in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering from February 2022 to May 2025, where responsibilities included advising over 200 Computer Science students and collaborating with faculty to enhance student engagement and academic success. Prior experience includes various roles at Auburn University Libraries from August 2015 to December 2021, including Temporary Circulation Assistant and Library Graduate Assistant, where supervision of student workers and patron instruction on library resources were key tasks. Alyssa also gained valuable counseling experience as an Intern Adult Therapist at East Alabama Mental Health, and contributed to research and educational initiatives through roles as a Social Development Lab Assistant and Practicum Student, along with facilitating curriculum at a local high school. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Auburn University.
