Brian Gibson

Brian Gibson serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Supply Chain Innovation at Auburn University Harbert College of Business since January 2016, focusing on advancing the center's national recognition in supply chain research and talent development. Brian holds the position of Wilson Family Professor of Supply Chain Management at Auburn University and has been Executive Director of Auburn Logistics Foundation Inc. since June 2001. In addition, Brian is a member of the Board of Directors and Past Chair of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). A 2021 Fulbright-Hanken Distinguished Scholar, Brian conducted research at the Hanken School of Economics in Finland, and previously served as an Education Advisor for NASSTRAC and an Associate Professor at Georgia Southern University. Brian earned a Ph.D. in Logistics and Transportation from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, an MBA in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Wayne State University, and a BBA in Logistics from Central Michigan University.
