Crawford Merk

Crawford Merk is a dedicated and multifaceted individual currently serving as a Worship Intern at First Baptist Church of Opelika, responsible for leading worship for the youth ministry while fostering the growth of the worship team. As a Manufacturing Engineer intern at GE Aerospace, Crawford is gaining valuable knowledge of product lines and processes. Additionally, Crawford holds the position of Manufacturing Teaching Assistant at Auburn University, where support is provided to Mechanical Engineering students in machining and manufacturing practices. Previous experience includes serving as a Project Engineer intern at Southern Company, a Senior Camp Counselor at Camp Marannook, a General Customer Service employee at Bendy's Cookies & Cream, and a Soccer Referee with the U.S. Soccer Federation. Crawford is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Auburn University, expected to graduate in 2026, following the attainment of a Classical High School Diploma from The Westminster School at Oak Mountain.
