Hao Zhang

Hao Zhang is a graduate research assistant at Auburn University, contributing to a DOE-funded solid-state lighting project while leading graduate investigators and mentoring students. As president of the AU Badminton Club, Hao Zhang increased membership and organized competitions. Previous experience includes serving as the Auburn University Student Chapter leader for the Surface Mount Technology Association, where several technological meetings were held, and as vice president of the student union at North University of China, leading teams to national competition successes. Additionally, a summer internship at Caterpillar Inc. resulted in a logistics model that decreased costs by 30%. Hao Zhang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from North University of China and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Auburn University.
