Harsimran Baweja

Harsimran Baweja currently serves as the Director of Physical Therapy at Auburn University since January 2023. Previously, Baweja held the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at San Diego State University from August 2014 to January 2023. Baweja's early career included a role as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Penn State University, focusing on neural foundations of handedness, stroke recovery, multisensory integration, and motor learning. Baweja also contributed as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida and Texas A&M University, working on neuromuscular mechanisms and motor performance across different age groups. Baweja's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Health and Human Performance from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. in Health and Kinesiology from Texas A&M University, alongside a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Sardar Patel University.
