Kate Thornton

Kate Thornton currently serves as the Director of Global Education at Auburn University, a position held since March 2014. Concurrently, Kate has been the Director of International Outreach at the Hunger Solutions Institute since January 2012. Prior experience includes serving as Interim Director of MBA Admissions and Operations at Auburn University from January 2008 to December 2011. Kate holds a PhD in Sustainability, Consumer Behavior, and Marketing, as well as a Master of Science in Consumer Affairs and an MBA from Auburn University. Additionally, Kate earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from Clemson University. Early education was completed at Dutch Fork High School.
