Tamela Seymour

Tamela Seymour, SPHR, currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at AuburnBank since July 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Talent Acquisition and SVP at Hancock Whitney Bank from January 2012 to January 2023, where Tamela developed talent acquisition strategies and fostered a strong DE&I culture while leading a recruitment team. Prior to that, Tamela held several HR management positions at Regions Financial from February 2004 to December 2011, including roles as Human Resources Manager and Senior HR Business Partner, where oversight was provided to various departments and support was extended to over 1,100 associates. Additional experience includes serving as a Regional Staffing Manager and Corporate Recruiter for Regions Bank, and a Recruiting Consultant at CrenshawClick. Tamela holds a BA in Business Economics from Wofford College, completed in 1996.
