Carol-Ann Lynch

Carol-ann Lynch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic roles in financial services. Currently serving as the Programme Director for Group Shared Services at Auckland Council since September 2024, Carol-ann has previously excelled at Westpac New Zealand as the Head of Product Experience and Tribe Lead - Business Services from October 2019 to March 2024. At Barclays, from September 2013 to April 2019, Carol-ann held the role of Chief Operations Officer, overseeing operations within Business & Private Banking and managing large-scale change initiatives. Earlier, at Standard Bank Group, from January 2009 to June 2013, Carol-ann led customer experience and value proposition strategies across multiple African countries. The career began with a focus on customer experience in the Kenyan market from 2009 to 2010. Educational background includes completing secondary education at Ferndale High School.
