Melanie has worked for various organizations such as the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, Ministry of Transport, carboNZero, WWF International, WWF-NZ, WWF-Australia, and currently at Auckland Council in roles related to resilience and emergency management. Melanie has a strong background in developing and implementing programs to address climate change, waste management, biodiversity, and water conservation. Melanie also has experience in negotiating international climate change agreements and raising awareness on environmental issues. Melanie is dedicated to building adaptive capacity within communities and promoting sustainable practices.
