Stu Mullin

Stu Mullin is an experienced governance and political affairs professional currently serving as the Head of Governance in the Office of the Mayor at Auckland Council since 2023. Previously, Stu worked as the External Affairs Manager at BAT, where responsibilities included communications and stakeholder management from 2021 to 2023. A significant role as Campaign Manager and Director of Campaign Operations for the New Zealand National Party was held in 2020, overseeing the nationwide campaign amidst a dynamic political landscape. Prior to that, Stu was a Consultant at Baldwin Boyle Group, focusing on corporate affairs and stakeholder engagement from 2018 to 2020, and held various positions within the New Zealand National Party from 2012 to 2018. Earlier experience includes technical sales at Weightec (NZ) and roles at the University of Auckland and the Ministry of Transport. Educational credentials include a BA (Hons) in Political Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Studies, both from the University of Auckland.
