Karen Duffy

Karen Duffy currently serves as the Director of People and Performance at Auckland Transport, a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Duffy was the Executive General Manager of Culture and Transformation. Duffy has extensive experience in human resources leadership, having held the position of Chief People Officer at Sanford Limited from February 2017 to December 2022. Additionally, Duffy served in various HR roles at Fonterra Brands (New Zealand) Limited and Fonterra Cooperative Group, including Director of Human Resources and General Manager of Human Resources. Earlier career positions include HR Manager roles at companies such as Bluebird Foods Ltd, Norfolk Electrical & Mechanical, and Nissan NZ Limited. Duffy holds multiple degrees in Human Resources and Business Administration from Massey University, including a Master’s in Business Studies.
