Paul Owen

Paul Owen is an experienced engineering and planning professional with a focus on asset management and transport. Currently serving as Principal Asset Engineer – Asset Acceptance at Auckland Transport since February 2016, Paul has also held the position of Senior Asset Management Planning Engineer. Prior to this role, Paul worked as a Growth Analyst at Auckland Council from November 2010 to January 2016, providing specialist technical advice on land use growth and development matters. Earlier in Paul’s career, from October 2005 to October 2010, experience was gained as a Transport Planner at North Shore City Council, where responsibilities included managing traffic counting contracts and running transport models. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from The University of Auckland and a Certificate in First Line Management and Leadership from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
