Richard Leggat

Richard Leggat holds extensive leadership roles, currently serving as Chair of Auckland Transport and Chairman of multiple organizations including Rakiura Maori Lands Trust, Westhaven Marina Ltd, Save the Kiwi, and Hamilton & Waikato Tourism. Richard has also been a member of the Union Cycliste Internationale Ethics Commission since February 2014, previously presiding as president. Other notable positions include Director at Warren and Mahoney and board member roles at Pānuku Development Auckland and SnowSports NZ. Richard's educational background includes a BSc in Economics from Canterbury University, complemented by a foundational education at CBHS from 1978 to 1980.
