Shendi Mani

Shendi Mani currently serves as a Senior Procurement Specialist for Auckland Transport, focusing on high-value and high-strategic procurement in public transport since April 2025. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Advisor at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, where Shendi led the delivery of key initiatives and implementation phases for a new decision-making tool from August 2023 to September 2024. Shendi also worked as a Transportation Engineer at Abley from January 2019 to August 2023, gaining expertise in traffic engineering and road safety analysis. Earlier experience includes a research scholarship at The University of Auckland, centered on storm-related infrastructure damage, and a project management internship at Fletcher Construction. Shendi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering from The University of Auckland and a degree in Maori Culture and Language from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
