Greg Murison

Greg joined UniServices in 2019 as Executive Director for Strategic Growth. He has responsibility for the Business Development, Funds Advisor, Contracts and Growth and Researcher Development and Education Services Teams in New Zealand and the University of Auckland Innovation Institute situated in Hangzhou, China. He has 25+ years’ experience in executive management and a successful track record of strong leadership, strategy development, business growth, and leading significant organizational change. Greg has a PhD in immunology and has worked in the biotech industry, universities and most recently in the Crown Research Institute, AgResearch. Throughout his career, he has been focused on creating partnerships between investors and researchers to resolve some of the bigger issues facing society.

In addition, Greg has held a number of governance roles for over 10 years on the Boards of commercial and not-for-profit organizations including Allergy New Zealand, Grasslands Innovation Limited, Pastoral Greenhouse Gas Research Consortium, B+LNZ Genetics, Velvet Antler Research New Zealand, and Biopolymer Network.
