Emily Escalante

Emily Escalante is an experienced instructional designer and trainer currently employed at Auctane since May 2021, where responsibilities include developing educational content and training programs. Prior to this role, Escalante worked for Leander ISD as a mathematics teacher from August 2019 to August 2020, leading a team in planning and data analysis for 120 students. Escalante also has experience as a mathematics teacher with Northside ISD from August 2017 to May 2019, focusing on lesson creation and problem-solving among a team of teachers. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a long-term substitute teacher at San Antonio ISD and a role as a science student teacher at NAVASOTA ISD. Earlier career experience includes serving as a community assistant with American Campus Communities, where unit leasing and social media management were key responsibilities. Emily Escalante holds a Bachelor of Education degree in 4-8 math science education from Texas A&M University, completed in 2017.
