Charbel Metrot has a diverse work experience in the field of IT infrastructure and network engineering. Charbel has held various roles, including Technical Lead, DevOps Engineer, and Network Engineer, in different companies such as AUDELA, B-Yond, Intelgica, Novelus, Crystal Networks, MADA, Université Antonine - UA, QTS (Quality Telecom Services), and SACOTEL sal. Charbel has expertise in managing and maintaining infrastructure, implementing networking topologies, deploying cloud services, and automating processes using Terraform, PowerShell, Python, and bash scripts. Charbel has also published an IEEE article during their time as a Research Assistant Engineer. Prior to their career in IT, they worked as a Telecommunications Engineer intern and as a Technician intern. Charbel Metrot started their professional journey in 2014 and continues to accumulate valuable experience in the field.
Charbel Metrot earned a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Université Antonine - UA from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed the Lebanese Baccalaureate in General Science (GS) and the French Baccalaureate in General Science (GS) from Antonine Sister School – Hazmieh - Jamhour between 2010 and 2013. In terms of additional certifications, Charbel obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from Cisco in February 2019. Charbel also holds certifications from Microsoft including Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, obtained in 2022 and 2021 respectively. Additionally, they completed an Advanced Programming and Algorithms Boot Camp, which is an intensive training camp focused on problem solving and algorithms for competitive programming in the ACM-ICPC style.
