Giacomo Azzarito

Giacomo Azzarito is currently working as an F1 Engineer focusing on MGU-K development for the Audi F1 Project since April 2023, following a significant tenure at AUDI AG from February 2017 to April 2023, where roles included HV-Battery development engineer, R&D project leader, and thermal engineer for electric machines. Azzarito has contributed to the design of innovative cooling solutions, thermal simulations, and has led agile teams to enhance project success. Azzarito's expertise is further highlighted by experience as a public speaker on powertrain electrification at Università degli Studi della Calabria, along with earlier roles as a project engineer for ASAP Gruppe and as a student researcher, culminating in a Master’s thesis that resulted in a patent application. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Digital Business Management from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt and a Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Energetica from the University of Calabria, complemented by studies in energy technology and mechanical engineering.
