Gunther Wiefel

Gunther Wiefel is an experienced professional in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Head of Production Steering Powertrain and Digital Officer at AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt. since 2004. Wiefel has held various leadership roles, including Head of Project Coordination/Engine Assembly and Manager of Mechanical Production for V6 engines. Prior experience includes roles in environmental management at AUDI AG from 1998 to 2004 and as a technical project leader at Adb Anlagenbau in 1997-1998. Wiefel holds a Diplom-Ingenieurin (FH) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy and Environmental Technology from Fachhochschule Aachen, completed between 1993 and 1997, and an Abitur from Humboldt Gymnasium Bad Pyrmont, obtained in 1992.
