Sascha Sauer

Sascha Sauer has a diverse work experience, primarily in the automotive industry. Sascha is currently the Head of Audi South Africa, a position they have held since October 2020. Prior to this role, they worked at AUDI AG, where they served as the Director Overseas Region (Africa, Near/Middle East) from October 2018 to September 2020. Sascha also held various other positions at AUDI AG, including Head of Project WLTP - Central Sales Planning and Steering, Head of Project Relaunch South Korea - Overseas Region, Director Aftersales Europe, and Director Western Europe (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg).

Before joining AUDI AG, Sauer worked at FAW-Volkswagen as the Vice President Sales Audi Sales Division from May 2009 to April 2012. Sascha also had a previous stint at AUDI AG as the Director South East Asia and Pacific Region and Head of Project: Market-entry India from 2006 to 2009.

Sauer's early career includes a role as Assistant to the Board at AUDI AG from June 2003 to June 2004. Sascha also gained experience at Windhorst Windhorst Asia Pacific Holdings as an Assistant to the Managing Director in 1996.

Sascha Sauer's education history starts with attending Rudolf Steiner Gymnasium from 1982 to 1991. After completing high school, Sascha enrolled in Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1995, they also attended Sheffield Hallam University, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on European Enterprise Management. In the same year, Sascha completed a Diploma Thesis at BMW Rolls-Royce GmbH, specializing in project planning and financial analyses of VANOS test stands. Continuing their education in 1996, Sascha joined Windhorst Asia Pacific Holdings Ltd for a brief period and obtained another MBA degree in Foreign Direct Investment.
