Geert Laier Christensen

Geert Laier Christensen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. From 2019 onwards, they worked at AudienceProject, starting as the Director of Research before becoming the Vice President of Data Science in February 2022. Prior to that, Geert worked at the European Commission from 2016 to 2019, where they served as a member of the REFIT platform. Geert Laier also spent a significant portion of their career at Dansk Erhverv, starting as the Analysis Director in 2010 and later becoming the Deputy Director of the Economic Policy Department until 2018. Other roles include being an External Lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, a Research Director at CEPOS, and heading a department at Epinion. Geert also had experience as a Civil Officer in the Danish Army.

From 1985 to 1988, Geert attended Randers Amstgymnasium.

From 1993 to 1999, Geert studied at Aarhus University, earning a Kandidatgrad (Master's degree) in Statskundskab (Political Science).

In 1994, Geert participated in the Methods in the Social Sciences summer school at the University of Essex. They also attended this summer school in 1998 and 2000.

In 1997 to 1998, Geert took part in an exchange program at the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, University of Washington. The field of study for this program is not specified.
