Amir Sadeghi

Amir Sadeghi has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Amir is currently working as the Chief Enterprise Architect at ÖBB since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at OMV from 2014 to 2022, holding roles such as Senior Expert Solutions Architecture and IT Operational Architect. At OMV, they played a key role in establishing a cloud-based data integration and contextualization platform and led the internal software development team. Before joining OMV, they worked at Senacor Technologies as an Architect for a brief period in 2014. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Nokia Solutions and Networks as a Senior Solution Architect, where they delivered service and customer-experience management solutions. Before that, they worked at Siemens AG Austria, PSE for several years, holding positions such as Technical Sales Consultant, Team Leader, and Software Engineer & Project Manager. Amir also has experience working at Vianet Telekommunikations AG as a Software Engineer, at Informationssystem- und Technologie GmbH as a Consultant, and at Management und Logistik Systeme GmbH as a Software Engineer.

Amir Sadeghi attended Technische Universität Wien from 1986 to 1994, where they earned a Dipl.-Ing. (MSc.) degree in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Certified SAFe 6 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., ITIL® version 3 Foundation from EXIN, NGOSS Overview from TMForum, and TOGAF 9 Certified from The Open Group.
