Kelsey Rutis has an extensive work experience spanning several industries. Primarily, they worked for Audigy, starting in 2014 as a Senior Marketing Manager II, where they helped audiology professionals with strategic marketing and operations. Later, they became the SBU Director, overseeing and supporting Brand Cultivator and Practice Developer - C SBU teams. In 2023, they were promoted to Senior Strategic Business Unit Director, contributing to driving innovation, growth, and providing exceptional member experience.
Before Audigy, Kelsey worked as the National Marketing & Communications Manager at Stand for Children, where they led communications efforts for a national campaign. Prior to that, they served as the Marketing & Partnership Manager for Greater Than, helping at-risk students in Oregon improve educational outcomes.
Kelsey also has experience as a self-employed event consultant and project manager, supporting non-profit events. Additionally, they worked at the Portland Women's Crisis Line as the Development & Marketing Coordinator, overseeing fundraising efforts and managing marketing strategies.
Kelsey started their career with internships at ESCO Corporation and as a Women's Self Defense Facilitator at the University of Oregon.
Kelsey Rutis began their education in 2003 at the University of Oregon, where they studied Child and Family Studies until 2004. Following this, they attended Portland State University from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences. During their time at Portland State University, Kelsey Rutis also pursued minors in Women's Studies and Sociology.
