David Josephson

David Josephson is an experienced engineer and CEO of Josephson Engineering, Inc. since January 1988, specializing in the design and manufacturing of microphones for sound recording and acoustic measurement, along with research in noise assessment for environmental impacts. David has contributed significantly to the field by advising leaders in electric aircraft companies such as Volocopter and Uber Elevate. As a Fellow of the Audio Engineering Society since October 2016 and a former Governor from November 2009 to November 2011, David's influence extends into professional organizations. Previous roles include systems engineering positions at EG&G Geometrics and High Life Helicopters, as well as serving as the Corporate Representative in China for EG&G, Inc. David's career began as Chief Engineer at KALX, University of California, Berkeley, where efforts included rebuilding a dormant FM radio station. David holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley, graduated in 1979.
