Tomasz Żernicki

Tomasz Żernicki is a seasoned entrepreneur and expert in the audio technology and standards fields, currently serving as Co-Founder of my3DAudio Ventures since January 2024, which supports the growth of audio and deep-tech European companies. As Co-Founder and CEO of Zylia since October 2012, Tomasz has been instrumental in developing innovative recording products, including the third-order ambisonics microphone ZYLIA ZM-1. With a background as a senior research scientist at Telcordia Technologies and extensive involvement in MPEG standardization through the ISO/IEC JTC1 WG11, Tomasz has contributed significantly to media coding standards. Additionally, educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electronics and Telecommunications from Poznan University of Technology, a visiting scholar position at Stanford University, and postgraduate studies in IT Project Management.
