Shannon Hayes

Shannon Hayes has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Shannon began their career at the Corporation for National and Community Service as an Americorps Vista, where they served a year of volunteer service focused on capacity building and establishing a Financial Literacy Institute. During this time, they were responsible for recruiting and training volunteers for a nationwide education program.

Following their tenure at the Corporation for National and Community Service, Shannon worked as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Ursuline College. In this role, they developed practice and conditioning plans, executed daily practices and athletic competitions, and assisted with recruiting potential student athletes.

Shannon then transitioned to the hospitality industry, working as a Bartender at the Tallmadge Firehouse. Here, they gained customer service and interpersonal skills while providing exceptional service to patrons.

Currently, Shannon is employed at Audio-Technica, where they have progressed from an Administrative Support role to Human Resources Administrator and, more recently, to Human Resources Generalist. In their current position as Senior Human Resources Generalist, Shannon utilizes their expertise in HR practices to support the company's human resources functions.

Shannon Hayes, SHRM-CP obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration from PennWest Edinboro. In addition, Shannon has earned several certifications including Bloodborne Pathogens from Swift First Aid, Inc. in October 2022, CPR/AED/First Aid from Swift First Aid, Inc. in October 2021, Notary Public Commission from the Ohio Secretary of State in February 2021, and the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in August 2020.
