Walter van Schaik

Walter van Schaik has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Walter started their career at Active Voice BV in 1994 as a system engineer and worked their way up to become the Director of Engineering. Walter then joined Active Communications Europe BV in 2009 as a Technical Director and shareholder, where they stayed until 2015. Since 2016, Walter has been working at AudioCodes as the Chief Architect Unified Communications, specializing in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft identity synchronization. In this role, they lead the R&D and support teams in the Netherlands and Romania.

Walter van Schaik pursued their undergraduate studies from 1990 to 1995 at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht). Walter earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a focus on Software Engineering and Computer Science. Additionally, they completed Cisco courses to become a Cisco Certified Systems Instructor and engaged in Microsoft courses to attain the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist designation.
