Operations/Production Supervisor at Audionamix

David Hewitt has held various roles in the music and production industry since 1991. David began their career as a Supervisor at Quality Lighting Inc. in Denver, Colorado, where they managed multiple teams of workers doing electrical retrofitting of commercial buildings. In 1997, they moved to Keith Jorgensens Music as Manager, where they managed the retail music store and handled HR work, marketing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general office duties. In 2002, they became an Audio Engineering Instructor at Musicians Institute, where they taught SSL, Neve, and other large format consoles, as well as recording theory and technique, Pro-Tools, Logic, Waves and other software instruction and usage. In 2004, they became Manager/Producer at Encino Sound Int. LLC, where they managed and helped build a start-up record label and designed, built, and operated a recording studio for production of signed artist content. In 2007, they became Owner of Tinysounds, an independent record label focused on emerging, independent, and eclectic artists. Here, they developed artist and project development, creative funding avenues, music production, artwork creation, and development of digital distribution channels and grassroots marketing opportunities. Finally, in 2011, they became Operations/Production Supervisor at Audionamix, where they managed audio production, product, and customer support teams. David was also responsible for project management, workforce and project scheduling, deadline control, quality control, and workflow development for better efficiency and profitability.

David Hewitt attended Musicians Institute from 2001 to 2002, studying Audio Engineering.
