Dr Lee Thornton

Dr Lee Thornton has a wide range of work experience. From 2006 to 2008, they were a Project Manager at AWE. From 2008 to 2015, they held various roles at the High Commission of Canada in the United Kingdom, including Trade Commissioner, Science and Technology Programme Manager, and Technology Development Officer. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Partner - Deeptech and Investment Director at IP Group plc, and a Non Executive Director at both AccelerComm Ltd and Common Era Ltd. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Non Executive Director at AudioScenic Limited, which designs and manufactures high-end 3D audio soundbar technology. Finally, from 2020 to 2022, they were Acting Chairman at Intrinsic and Non Executive Director at Quantum Dice.

Dr Lee Thornton completed a DPhil in Physical Chemistry from the University of Oxford in 2006, followed by a Master of Chemistry in Chemistry from the same university in 2002.
