Julie English

Julie English has an extensive work history in various roles in the retail and HR fields. Julie started their career at Gap Inc. in 1995, where they served as a Store Manager and later as an Acting District Manager. In 2006, they became a Human Resource Manager at X-tra Communications, where they successfully grew sales and managed various business operations. Julie then returned to Gap Inc. in 2011 as a General Manager, responsible for all aspects of store operations. Julie later transitioned to Gap Inc./Old Navy as a General Manager/Loyalty Expert. In 2022, Julie joined the Audubon Nature Institute as a Human Resources Generalist, where they managed benefits programs and ensured compliance with employment laws. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Learning and Development at the same organization. Julie is highly experienced in HR, operations management, sales generation, and training.

Julie English, PHR, SHRM-CP has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from LSU Shreveport, which they obtained from 2023 to 2024. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of General Studies in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University from 2007 to 2011. Their education also includes an Associates of Business Administration in Business Administration from Bossier Parish Community College, which they completed from 1989 to 1992. In addition to their degrees, Julie has obtained two certifications: the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in March 2023 and the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) from HRCI in March 2023.
