Corbin Halliwill

Corbin Halliwill is a software engineer who currently works for Augmental Tech. Corbin has previously worked for Google, Dispatch Logistics, and Pivotal, Inc. In their role at Google, they built a Rails/React web app that integrates and updates with real time parcel tracking, generates intelligent shipping quotes, and enables compliance in a highly regulated industry. At Pivotal, they worked on 11 different projects from contributing to open source software such as Concourse CI and Cloudfoundry (in particular the Cloudfoundry CLI) to leading the development team for a large enterprise learning to move like a startup. In addition to their work experience, Corbin has interned at Inveneo and Pivotal Labs. Corbin has also served as a research assistant for the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley.

Corbin Halliwill has a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder, a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley College of Engineering, and an International Baccalaureate in Bilingualism from the French American International School in San Francisco. Corbin is also certified by the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education in Avalanche 2, by USHPA in P2 Certified Paraglider, by the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education in Avalanche 1, by the United States Parachute Association in B License Skydiver, by the San Francisco Fire Department in Neighborhood Emergency Response Team, and by NATIONAL OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP SCHOOL in Wilderness First Responder.
