Gal Brandwine

Gal Brandwine has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gal currently works at Augury as a Linux embedded engineer, where they focus on R&D for IoT and building embedded Linux operating systems. Prior to this, Gal worked at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems as an autonomous drones software engineer, specializing in indoor exploration and navigation. Gal developed a unique flight computer and integrated localization algorithms. Gal also has experience as a thinking games instructor and served in the Israel Defense Forces as a commander and course leader, where they trained and mentored cadets. Gal received an award of excellence for their role as a Naval Commander at the Israeli Navy.

Gal Brandwine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from Braude Academic College, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. Prior to their college education, Gal also obtained a certification as a naval vessels mechanic from the Israel Defense Forces in January 2012.
