Christine Thoren

Christine Thoren is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in nonprofit organizations and the arts. Currently serving as Sr. Engagement Lead at August Jackson since September 2022, Christine has previously held key positions such as Senior Marketing & Community Relations Manager at Tree House Humane Society, where a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy was developed. Prior roles include Director of Communications at Chicago Opera Theater, where Christine led marketing strategies and was recognized as Fogel General Manager of Strategy & Communications. Other contributions span various marketing and audience engagement roles at The House Theatre of Chicago, Next Theatre Company, and Protein Bar. A graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, Christine has consistently demonstrated expertise in brand development, crisis communications, and digital marketing campaigns across diverse platforms.
