Schevella Nicholes has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as a Human Resources Specialist II for the Augusta, Georgia Government since July 2015. Responsibilities include processing Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) applications, coordinating Worker’s Compensation, managing Long-Term Disability applications, and addressing benefits inquiries and enrollments. Prior to this role, Schevella held the position of Human Resource Generalist at The Salvation Army from January 2011 to July 2015, where responsibilities encompassed payroll, worker's compensation, new hire paperwork and orientation, exit interviews, recruiting, FMLA administration, background checks, and benefits management. Schevella earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix between 2010 and 2012, and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field at the University of Phoenix-Augusta Campus from 2007 to 2010.
