James S. completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from 1993 to 2001. James then pursued an MBA in Global Management at the Thunderbird School of Global Management from 2005 to 2007. In 2010 and 2011, they attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, obtaining an Olympic Sport Leadership Certificate in Sports Leadership.
