Margie Miller is the AVP of Government Relations at Augusta University. Margie has over fifteen years of experience in state budgeting and policy analysis, including positions at the Georgia House of Representatives Budget and Research Office, the House Budget Office, and the Georgia Public Service Commission.

As a Senior Fiscal & Policy Analyst at the Georgia House of Representatives Budget and Research Office, Margie was responsible for developing, analyzing, and allocate financial resources in the state budget. Margie also reviewed current state revenues and forecast future budget needs, tracked House and Senate bills with fiscal implications to accurately reflect in the Appropriation bill, and advised on pending health policy legislation at state and federal level. In this role, they were responsible for examining budget estimates and proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.

Margie began their career in public service as an intern with the Governor's Program at the Georgia Public Service Commission.

Margie Miller has a Master of Arts in Professional Politics from Georgia State University and a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics from the University of North Georgia.
