Kathy Youngquist

Kathy Youngquist is a Vice President of Finance and the Chief Financial Officer at Augustana Care. Kathy has over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance, including positions at Larson Allen and Elim Care, Inc.

At Elim Care, Kathy supervised the accounting department and was responsible for monthly financial reporting, obtaining loans and refinancing, Medicaid & Medicare reporting, accounts receivable collections, centralized AP and payroll, and communications with lawyers and bankers.

Before Elim Care, Kathy worked as a staff accountant at Larson Allen in the health care audit department. There they audited nursing homes and prepared Medicare & Medicaid cost reports. Kathy also did some financial pro forma work for clients.

Kathy's experience and expertise in accounting and finance make their a valuable asset to Augustana Care.

Kathy Youngquist attended Bethel University where they earned their BA in Business. Kathy is also certified by the AICPA as a Certified Public Accountant (Inactive).

Kathy Youngquist reports to Bob Dahl, President & CEO. They are on a team with Julie Thurn - Corporate Director of Nursing Services, George Serra - Corporate Food Services Director, and Jeffrey Wipf - Vice President of Information Technology .
