Ahmad Smadi

Ahmad Smadi has extensive work experience in various roles, industries, and seniority levels.

Ahmad began their career in 2005 as a Value Added Services Engineer at Zain Jordan, where they worked until 2008. In this role, they focused on developing and implementing value-added services plans and providing technical support.

Ahmad then progressed to the position of Value Added Services Team Leader at Zain Jordan from 2009 to 2013. Here, they supervised the VAS Technical Team, designed and implemented VAS plans to achieve targets, and provided technical assistance to team members.

In 2013, Ahmad became the Data and VAS Manager at Zain Jordan, where they managed the performance of data and value-added services systems and platforms. Ahmad also handled the relationship with relevant parties to meet market needs and enhance customer experience.

From 2015 to 2019, they served as the Services & Solutions Manager at Zain Jordan, responsible for leading and managing the solutions team and ensuring alignment of solution architecture with business needs. Ahmad also oversaw the scoping process and resource management.

Following that, Ahmad took on the role of Solutions Manager at Zain Jordan from 2019 to 2020. In this position, they led the solutions team during scoping activities and ensured that the solution and architecture addressed business needs effectively.

In 2020, they joined Media World as the Technical Operations Director, where they designed and implemented business operations, oversaw company operations and project teams, and collaborated with different stakeholders to ensure project delivery and product launches within set timeframes.

Currently, Ahmad is serving as the VP of Engineering at Aumet since 2021. In this role, they manage agile development teams, ensures product compliance with design requirements, and collaborates with product managers to influence product vision and maintain quality standards. Ahmad oversees the entire team of engineers and developers at Aumet.

Ahmad Smadi attended October 6 University from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.A. Sci) degree in Telecommunications Engineering during the same period at the same university.
