Penny Hsieh

Penny Hsieh is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the display technology sector. Currently a Principal Engineer at AU Optronics Corporation America since December 2017, Penny has led initiatives such as the Demura Project to enhance luminance uniformity in AMOLED panels and has implemented optical data compression techniques to reduce memory consumption significantly. Prior to this role, Penny served as a Senior Engineer at 中華映管股份有限公司 from July 2006 to December 2017, where leadership of the Pure Image Engine project focused on optimizing LCD image quality, and development of the RGB to RGBT algorithm improved transparent display performance. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Senior Engineer at ChungHua Picture Tubes, LTD from July 2005 to December 2017. Penny's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Graphic Art and Communications from National Taiwan Normal University, earned between 2004 and 2006.
